Justin Ruttkay: Action Sports Story Consultant

Justin Ruttkay, action sports story consultant on “Shred Games: The Legend of Kid Z,," has brought more than 20 years of experience.

Character through sports is a major theme in the Shred Games story, and Justin’s contribution brought the ideal authenticity in that regard.

Coming from a background as an avid surfer, skateboarder and snowboarder, Justin has honed not only his athletic experience, but he also brings actions sports trainer & character mentor skills to the table through his 10 years’ experience as trainer to young pre-professional surfers while working alongside Kevin Dean, SoCal’s high performance surf trainer, through the DSC surf training and character mentoring program in Huntington Beach, CA.

Surfing should be an enjoyable experience and surfing’s greatest value is the role it plays in the development of character and life skills.

Much gratitude to Justin for the years of patience and encouragement, and for his sense of humor. I also have to add, the character, Eracer, came from Justin’s imagination during an impromptu brainstorming session.
